Wedding Speech Writing & Coaching
Standing up to speak in front of a room full of people can feel like the scariest part of the whole day. You might know roughly what you want to say, but not how to say it. Or you're more worried about forgetting your words, losing your place, or your voice shaking, than you are excited about the moment itself. That's completely normal, and it's exactly what my 'Blooming Confidence' service is here to help with.
Support to help you write it, say it, and speak with confidence

Introducing
Blooming Confidence
A great speech isn't a performance. It's just you being able to stand there and say your words with confidence. I'll work with you to shape your words so they flow naturally, land the right jokes, and hit the right emotional notes, then help you practise saying them until they feel like second nature.
From £50 per hour
Blooming Confidence can be added to a wedding package or can be booked as a stand alone service, whether or not I'm your celebrant on the day.
About Blooming Confidence
Who it's for
The best man, maid of honour, or anyone else on speech duty who's putting it off because they don't know where to start.
Parents of the bride or groom who want to say something meaningful without it feeling like a formal address.
Couples giving a joint speech together.
Anyone with a genuine fear of public speaking who still wants their moment to go well.
Anyone who's written a speech already but wants an honest, experienced eye on it before the day.

What's included
An initial conversation about who you're speaking to, what you want to say, and what's worrying you most about it.
Hands-on help shaping and structuring your speech, so it has a proper flow rather than feeling like a list of anecdotes.
Coaching on pace, tone, and body language, so you come across as calm and natural, not rehearsed.
Practical techniques for managing nerves on the day itself.
As many one to one sessions as you need, in person locally or virtually wherever you are, billed hourly.
Most people arrive at their first session convinced they're going to mess it up. They leave with a speech that sounds like them, a plan for how it flows, and the tools to actually stand up and enjoy the moment instead of surviving it.
If there's a joke or a story you keep talking yourself out of including because it feels risky or too personal, that's usually exactly the bit that will land best. Part of my job is helping you find the confidence to keep it in.
